Catwalk & Market Bazaar — December 1, 2017
On December 1st, 2017, JOANNALSM was invited to showcase at Runway SG: Catwalk & Market Bazaar, an event presented by The Hive Singapore and Runway Asia. This fashion-forward evening celebrated Singapore’s rising design talents, spotlighting 11 up-and-coming local designers through a dynamic runway show and marketplace.
Set against the vibrant creative backdrop of The Hive, the event brought together fashion lovers, artists, entrepreneurs, and media to support and discover the next wave of Singaporean designers.
JOANNALSM presented looks from the Yuan Resort 2018 collection, marking its second public showing following the National Museum exhibition earlier that year. This showcase allowed the collection’s message—of identity, individuality, and reinterpretation of origin—to reach a broader audience in a fresh, energetic setting. With a live runway and an engaging retail experience, the event celebrated the convergence of style, community, and self-expression.
