As part of Singapore Fashion Week 2017, JOANNALSM was selected to present at the Harper’s BAZAAR Asia NewGen Fashion Award, a prestigious platform that spotlights emerging fashion talents across the region.

Representing Singapore, Joannalsm showcased her work alongside five other designers from Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. Each designer brought forth a unique perspective, pushing the boundaries of creativity and craftsmanship on an international stage.

The finalists presented their collections to a distinguished panel of judges including Kenneth Goh (Editor-in-Chief, Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore), Charmaine Ho (Executive Editor), Windy Aulia (Senior Fashion Editor), and India Plumbly (Head of Fashion, Stage & Screen and Social & Digital at Swarovski, Corporate Branding and Communication, APAC).

This milestone marked JOANNALSM’s debut into regional recognition, solidifying her voice in Asia’s evolving fashion landscape through bold storytelling, refined construction, and a distinctive aesthetic language.
