Oriental Punch is a capsule collection that blends the elegance of traditional Chinese garment detailing with contemporary silhouettes and vibrant floral motifs. Designed as a modern tribute to heritage, the collection fuses East Asian symbolism with a fresh, feminine edge.
The prints draw inspiration from two key sources: the juniper tree and seaweed, a symbol found in the five-clawed dragon robes of Chinese imperial rulers. The juniper—derived from the Latin junio (youth) and parere (to produce)—represents growth, vitality, and the ever-renewing spirit of youth. In contrast, seaweed symbolizes purity and imperial authority, echoing themes of leadership, fluidity, and legacy.
Breaking away from the conventional palette of Chinese New Year garments, Oriental Punch introduces black as a central color. Often regarded in modern culture as a symbol of power, elegance, and equality, black challenges tradition while elevating the look with quiet confidence.
