JOESH : Nomad City

A collaborative exhibition with Esther Choy, founder of EshbyEsther.

As society evolves and the pace of life accelerates, we find ourselves constantly seeking simplicity—in how we live, work, and dress. Today’s modern woman embraces versatility and is always in search of pieces that are both functional and expressive.

Titled “Urban Nomadicity | NOMAD.CITY,” this SS18 collection captures the spirit of the urban nomad: a woman who is always on the move, always curious, and always craving something distinct. Designed with adaptability in mind, these pieces evolve with the wearer—seamlessly transitioning from professional settings to social evenings, while ensuring style, comfort, and quiet confidence.

The collection features a distinctive, custom print—a visual conversation between the organic and the inorganic, reflecting the dualities of modern life. This abstract pattern explores the intersections of rapid urbanity and fluid simplicity, suggesting that amidst the chaos, one can still find flow.

Symbolic detailing throughout each piece—like delicate specks and connected motifs—represents personal journeys and lived experiences, threading together stories of movement, memory, and identity. NOMAD.CITY is not just about fashion—it’s a reflection of the individual’s evolving narrative in an ever-shifting world.
