A 2022 Design Orchard Relaunch: Live Love Local

In celebration of Design Orchard’s relaunch (8th June 2022), JOANNALSM was invited to showcase at the Live Love Local fashion show—a curated runway event spotlighting Singapore’s vibrant creative scene. Under the direction of the iconic Daniel Boey, the show brought together diverse local designers in a celebration of homegrown talent.

For this occasion, JOANNALSM presented a bold, streetwear-inspired capsule collection titled #000000 & #FFFFFF. Referencing the hexadecimal color codes for black and white, the collection explores themes of contrast, duality, and minimalism, while remaining rooted in expressive urban aesthetics.

Designed to speak to modern individuality, each piece plays on the tension and harmony between extremes—monochrome tones, clean lines, and bold silhouettes all come together in a contemporary, wearable narrative.
